Here is Rig #2 after testing the nose steering witch is now connected to the rudder gyro. I just installed the nose
section where Phil Nuza was nice enough to make me a molded nomex honey comb nose with weighs
an incredible 1.0 lb. with the hatch. One batter pack weighs 1.0 lb. This must be the lightest construction
method I have seen. And even at 1.0 lb it could be lighter as right now its far stronger and stiffer than it
needs to be.

If I knew how to make Rig #2 better I would. I just went and built the same plane as before. Its lighter, stiffer and
carries more fuel, but for the most part Rig #1 and Rig #2 are the same design.

You can see all 3 gyros are mounted to a very stiff carbon plate and are rubber mounted. The
fuel tanks are see here where they hold ~180 oz together. Rig #1 only held 64 oz total.
The nose section is a lot less cluttered. Those things stuck to the side are the speed controllers
for the tail rotors. Before they were as big as the 12 ch receiver.
